Cashless payments can be made across the Red Bull Ring site. In many places, it’s even the only form of payment accepted. All common credit and debit cards are accepted, as are cashless cards.*

Using the cashless card, you can pay for goods at all of the food stands in the Fan Zone, in the Red Bull Ring Fan Shop, at the mobile Fan Shop and in Bull’s Lane and the Wing Café. Please be aware that you cannot use the cashless card to pay at the teams’ official merchandise stands.

Frequently asked questions

A cashless card can be used to pay at all food stands in the Fan Zone, in the Red Bull Ring Fan Shop, at the mobile Fan Shop and in Bull’s Lane and the Wing Café during major motorsport events.
Combined with the alatest chip technology and a generally very high standard of encryption for all data, the system is an incredibly secure method of payment. Because of the offline compatibility, the system is extremely stable.
The technology behind the system is called RFID, which stands for radio frequency identification. This technology is used for cashless payment and a variety of entry systems, among other applications. The process is as follows: an RFID medium (e.g. cashless card) is topped up using cash, a debit card or credit card on site. It can then be used to make payments, with the balance of the card being reduced every time by the amount of the purchase.
Personalisation isn’t obligatory, but it can save the balance if the card is lost. To freeze your card, you need the PIN and the chip number that can be found on the back of your card. If you personalise your card, you can access the PIN and the chip number online after it’s been lost. Personalisation is easy to do online. The following details are required: name, surname, email address.
