History of the series, from inauguration to cult status

Formula Historic is an absolute must for fans of classic racing cars. The first cars on the grid originated from the legendary Formula Vee, Formula Ford and Formula 3 series, but the field of participants has expanded over time and now also includes sports cars from the Sports 2000 class. The diminutive racers with their two-litre Ford series engines perfectly complement the starting field.

The fact that motorsport legends such as Ayrton Senna, Gerhard Berger and Alain Prost started their careers in similar racing cars speaks volumes.

Fair fight

To ensure fair competition, the vehicles must meet the specific requirements of their division in terms of engine, weight and aerodynamics. This keeps the spirit of racing alive and offers motorsport that thrills fans and drivers alike.
