It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve driven a car or ridden a bike on the PlayStation at home or in the simulator at the Red Bull Ring. Taking a seat in a high-powered racing car or on a motorbike and steering it around a real race track is something completely different.
Basically, you should be in good physical and mental health. If a Driving/Riding Experience stipulates special physical requirements, you will find this information in the FAQ section of the respective offer.
Our Porsche 718 Cayman S and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 are suitable for wheelchair-bound participants. Both vehicles can be converted to manual operation.
You must have a Class A or Class B licence for most of these Experiences. There are, however, exceptions to this rule. For example, if you book a Race Taxi Ride in the KTM X-Bow or our Ohvale MiniGP Bike Experience, no licence is required.
You can find out whether you need a driving licence and which L17 regulations apply in the FAQs for the respective Driving/Riding Experience. Please don’t forget to bring your licence with you when you register on the day of your Experience.
Coaching means that our experienced instructors will guide you step by step to the limit of your ability in a series of ‘Lead & Follow Sessions’. When you’re ready, you’ll set off on your first flying lap in the 700 hp Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport.
Our instructor is literally at your side, i.e. in the passenger seat. He will correct small mistakes and advise on special techniques to help you beat your personal best time.
By ‘Lead & Follow’, we mean guided driving, i.e. the instructor drives in front and you are directly behind him in your car. During the first few laps, you will familiarise yourself with the track and learn where the tricky sections are and where you need to pay special attention.
The instructor then increases the speed so that you always feel safe and never exceed the limits of your ability. During a Lead & Follow Session, a maximum of four cars line up behind the instructor. Front-seat passengers are not permitted during this Experience.
The experience is not just for visitors who want to play it safe, but for anyone who wants to discover for themselves what a NASCAR or Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport is really capable of.
Yes, the Driving Centre has a tarmac surface that can be watered, making it perfect for drifting. This particular skill is not about cornering as fast as possible, but rather performing controlled gymnastics that stop short of a full skid, balancing an unstable vehicle like you would a pencil on the tip of your finger.
It’s a special technique that takes some time to master. But after that, it’s incredible fun.
Yes, the off-road bike track is designed so that everyone – from beginners to hardcore enduro riders – can romp around to their heart’s content. The higher the dirt factor, the higher the fun factor!
Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you will learn how to take your skills to the next level and how to find the right solution in tricky situations. A good time is guaranteed for all!
On the race track, you should always approach every challenge with the appropriate measure of respect. After all, it’s possible to reach speeds of more than 200 km/h on the uphill section leading into Turn 3. Your physical strength will be taxed to the limit, especially if you are riding your own or a hired motorbike. The technique cans be summed up as follows: Knee down, elbow down, brake hard and slide into the bend.
If you want to get fit for the new motorbike season or take your riding skills to the next level, then the Driving Center is the place for you. Here you can take it easy – step by step – on two or four wheels.
In a nutshell, we aim to offer flexibility instead of one-size-fits-all. Participants are allocated to groups to ensure that they match each other in terms of level and can get the most out of the session. Our Driving/Riding Experiences all take place in small groups to ensure maximum learning and enjoyment.
