Relaxed journey to the Red Bull Ring

Today being Thursday, you are more or less guaranteed a stress-free journey by road to the Red Bull Ring. Whether you’re coming on two wheels or four, your designated parking area is P4. This is also where you will find the biker cloakroom, where you can leave your motorbike clothing as well as larger bags which are not permitted in the grandstands. (A fee is payable*)

From Friday onwards, you should ideally travel by public transport or bike. Checking in at the campsite is possible all day today. LED signs will guide you on the S36 Murtal motorway to optimise your journey.

*Fee: €15/day, €35/weekend, card payments accepted

MopedGP as prelude to the MotoGP

If you’re one of the lucky ones to have secured a highly coveted starting place, you will already be well informed about the WHEN, the HOW and the WHERE.

If you’re at the Red Bull Ring today and would like to watch the MopedGP as a spectator, you can do so from the open grandstands. As the name suggests, the inaugural Austrian MopedGP will not be featuring any 1000cc bikes, but it will be contested by some high-calibre riders. The hundreds of amateur moped riders will be joined by the likes of Brad Binder, Jack Miller, Marc and Álex Márquez, Augusto Fernández, Pedro Acosta, Jorge Martín and Miguel Oliveira, all tackling the corners with limited horsepower.

It's getting hot!

The weather god seems to be a MotoGP fan and is ensuring a sunny race weekend. Today you can expect sunshine and temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius. Accordingly, the motto is: drink, drink and drink again. There are numerous water dispensers on-site where you can drink water for free. The exact locations can be found in the interactive site map in our Red Bull Ring app.
