Experience an unforgettable road trip through Styria – a trip with a dream car to the most beautiful places and regional delicacies.
From the Spielberg to the Sölk Pass, past the Gesäuse National Park near Admont to the old Roman road in Hohentauern and back to the Red Bull Ring. On the Porsche enjoyment tour you can experience the most beautiful places in Styria in just one day.
The journey begins at 8.30 am at the Red Bull Ring with an introduction to the special features of the company car: a Porsche 718 Cayman S. The sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, has a top speed of 285 km/h and, with its 350 hp, provides ample driving pleasure. Shifting is done by means of paddle shift on the steering wheel, while the chassis and engine dynamics can be adjusted to suit comfort or sport at the touch of a button.
The first two stages of the tour lead over 120 kilometres from Spielberg over the Sölkpass at an altitude of around 1,800 metres above sea level to Pürgg on the east side of the Grimming, the highest free-standing mountain massif in Europe.
In this picturesque village, affectionately called the “Kripperl der Steiermark” by local poet Peter Rosegger, the Gasthaus Krenn invites you to enjoy seasonal and regional delicacies. After lunch you have the possibility to buy organic products in the in-house grocery store.
In the afternoon the Porsche drivers can look forward to another 120 kilometres: from Pürgg via Admont, Hohentauern and Fohnsdorf back to the Spielberg. There the Styrian road trip will end after about 240 kilometres and 3 hours of pure driving time at about 4.30 pm. A pity actually…
