This June, Spielberg will once again host the action-packed international GT touring series. This Father’s Day Weekend, from June 12th to 13th, the “League of Super Sports Cars” will grab the attention of spectators at the Red Bull Ring. Fans will experience a horsepower filled weekend with numerous local heroes at their home race on Austrian asphalt. But, the thrill doesn’t stop there… the weekend has more to offer with the support series like the ADAC Formula 4, Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, ADAC TCR Germany and ADAC GT4 Germany on display all weekend in Spielberg.
NEW TO 2021: From now on, the race series with the status of International German GT Championship will be fighting for the title of German GT Champion.
Once again this season, numerous top drivers from Austria are represented in the starting field. The regular driver in the ADAC GT Master is Klaus Bachler from Unzmarkt, who also wants to score big points at his home race at the Red Bull Ring in 2021. To add to that, preferably in front of fans in Spielberg: “If I had one wish, it would of course make me very happy if there were fans at the track,” says Bachler.
Grasser Racing, the experienced local team from Knittelfeld, is entering a remarkable four Lamborghini Huracán GT3s in the International German GT Championship. One of the Styrian-Italian supercars will be driven by Tyrolean Clemens Schmid. After his last outing in 2019, Thomas Preining from Linz shares a Porsche cockpit with defending champion Christian Engelhart this year at Küs Team75 Bernhard.
The ADAC GT Masters consists of seven race weekends this year. After the opening in Oschersleben in May, it’s off to Austria for the second round at the Red Bull Ring from June 12th to 13th, 2021.
For those who would like to attend the 2021 ADAC GT Masters’ in Austria at the Red Bull Ring, you can now purchase weekend tickets for 40 euros and day tickets for 25 euros here.
In the event of an official spectator limit, tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis based off the date the order for tickets is received.
An important note for ticket buyers: Due to the current situation, tickets are subject to change. Should the rules for events currently in force in Austria be extended or should the legal regulations for the event period of the planned event change, we will inform you in a timely manner. Regardless of the current situation, Projekt Spielberg will always try to find the best solution for fans in an uncomplicated way.
Please note: The well-known COVID-19 hygiene and security measures apply to all visitors. The current situation unfortunately makes access to the paddock impossible. Should the legal regulations be relaxed accordingly at the time of the event, access to the paddock will of course be available to all ticket holders as an extra bonus! The grandstands are only open on Saturday and Sunday.
