On the weekend of 28th – 30th June, the Red Bull Ring will become a place of pilgrimage for tens of thousands of F1 fans. But travelling to the venue need not be stressful experience. To help you make your way to the Red Bull Ring, we’ve put together the following essential information.
With more than 120 pickup points, you can board the bus close to your home or hotel. Immediately after the race, you will be transported back to your hometown or to your hotel via the reverse route. The fleet of modern coaches will run from Friday to Sunday. On the Sunday of the race, you can also travel on one of our express shuttles.
The advantages are obvious:
Important note: Your bus ticket does not include entry to the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Austria 2024. The event ticket must be purchased separately.
Within Styria, the Freizeitticket will get you to Knittelfeld station quickly and easily. From anywhere else in Austria, we recommend booking an ÖBB Sparschiene ticket. From Knittelfeld station, simply take the free shuttle to the Red Bull Ring and back after the race.

For those who want to get out of the car and into the saddle, or live close by and would prefer to take their bike, there is a central Park & Bike car park at Therme Fohnsdorf.
In order to get to the car park, take the Judenburg-Ost exit on the S36 from both directions. Clearly marked bike paths will lead you to the event site. There are three bicycle parking spaces around the Red Bull Ring. >> Overview of the bicycle parking spaces
If you are arriving by car or motorbike, we recommend hitting the road as early as possible and arriving before 08:00, especially on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, advance planning can save you a lot of time and hassle.
Our traffic guidance system with signs along the access routes will make it easier for you to get to the car parks, which are all within walking distance of the racetrack. If the current traffic situation does not allow for it, please follow instructions given by the marshalls.
The parking spaces are free of charge. Please memorise the number of your parking area indicated at the entrance to the respective area. The central motorcycle parking lot near P4 has biker lockers. All equipment can be handed in for a fee of 15 euros*.
The campsites are only a few minutes’ walk from the Red Bull Ring, putting fans close to the action and within a few steps of the race track. To help distribute campers around the sites as well as possible on Thursday, they are to be led along the S36 Murtal road by LED direction screens.
For Camping pink, turquoise (türkis), orange, green, purple, yellow und white campsites, the Knittelfeld West motorway exit is recommended. Those staying at the blue, red and beige campsites should turn off at Zeltweg West, however. Please follow the recommended route to your campsite.
