Have you ever dreamt of tearing around the Red Bull Ring in an Formula 1 car? It could become a reality. Simply take part in the Red Bull Tryouts Challenge to prove your memory, reaction and concentration skills – and you might secure a place in the cockpit of a Red Bull Racing 2-Seater.
Bike artist Fabio Wibmer recently experienced how an F1 driver feels in the cockpit during a ride as the G-forces act on the neck muscles, seeing how incredibly short the braking distances are and much more during a ride in the Red Bull Racing 2-Seater. His driver was the world champion himself, Max Verstappen.
The Red Bull Racing 2-Seater is a converted F1 racing car with a V10 engine that still has the brute sound of the naturally aspirated engines used until 2005. Just by watching the F1 drivers on TV as they drive their mean machines across the track and glide around the corners, you can’t fully appreciate the strain they are under in the cockpit.
Only when the race is over and the drivers take their helmets off does the toll become apparent in their faces. With a ride in the Red Bull Racing 2-Seater, fans have a unique chance to feel for themselves what the giants of motorsport have to contend with in their cockpits.
